Parents and age ratings
Last updated: 23 October 2026
A quick guide for parents and guardians: what each game is like and how we look after young players.
Age ratings
Etheria is for teens and adults, with games for every age. Players need to be at least 13, and under-16s need your permission where the law requires it. Each game carries a rating:
| Game | Age rating | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Turbo Rally | All ages | Suitable for everyone. |
| Coaster Kingdom | All ages | Suitable for everyone. |
| Quick Play | All ages | Short casual games, suitable for everyone. Some are made by other studios. |
| Metropolis 3000 | 9+ | City building. |
| Firestorm | 13+ | Modern-combat strategy between fictional factions. No gore. |
| Neon Bay | 13+ | Open-world crime with stylised weapons. No blood, and bystanders and police are never harmed. |
What we do and don't do
- No chat. There's no chat and no way for players to message each other.
- No ads at launch.
- No purchases at launch. Shards are earned by playing, can't be bought, and have no cash value.
- No pay-to-win, no loot boxes, no gambling mechanics. Not now, not later.
- No account needed. Progress is saved in the browser on your child's device, not with us.
- No cookies, no tracking profiles. Our analytics count totals and store no IP addresses.
If we add accounts or purchases later, we'll update our policies first and explain what changes for families.
Email sign-up
The only personal data we collect is an email address, if someone chooses to sign up for news about new games. To sign up they must confirm they're 16 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's permission (some countries set a lower age, such as 13 in the UK). We use the address only for those emails, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Clearing progress
Game progress, Shards and settings live in the browser. To remove them, open the browser's settings and clear site data for etheria.games. This can't be undone. Details are on our cookies and storage page.
Questions about your child's data
If you think your child signed up for emails without your permission, or you want to know what we hold, write to [[PRIVACY EMAIL]] (suggested: privacy@etheria.games). Tell us the email address involved and we'll delete it. We may ask a question or two to make sure the request really comes from you.
For anything else, write to [[SUPPORT EMAIL]] (suggested: hello@etheria.games).
